I viewed my daughter's recent pictures of her four daughters who are in Alaska and their great accomplishments in band, gym, and girl scouts. Then it dawned on me that if it weren't for FaceBook, my daughter would not have shared her photos and videos with so many and for free as you state. But, when they no longer show on FaceBook or any other online viewing tool, where do those wonderful photos go? We must preserve the memories in a very keepsake way. When those little girls grow up to be Mommy's themselves, how will they show their children the wonderful things they did as children? These are questions we all must think about. Find the best way to keep your pictures and stories in a safe way that will last generations. Web sites come and go. Photos don't stay on the web sites forever.
